ATL Technology is searching for an outstanding, professional, knowledgeable and experienced quality supervisor to be an integral part of our quality team. This is a hands-on role which requires an energetic and motivated self-starter with a passion for quality, compliance and continual improvement.

In this position the ideal candidate would be expected to supervise employees within the incoming inspection aspects. A few items you would be responsible for:

  • Manage day-to-day all quality inspection activities, work areas, work environment and quality personnel.
  • Reviews quality inspection documents for accuracy and assures point and systemic corrections.
  • Originates and updates Non-Conforming Material Records including documenting as-found conditions with pictures & dimensions of nonconformities & noteworthy observations.
  • Provides multiple trainings to all quality personnel on proper safety techniques and equipment used in the quality area and in the product inspection process.
  • Responsible for identifying and documenting all Quality related issues.
  • Responsible for upkeep of the Clean Room, Clean Area and Commercial inspection area.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Possess keen sense of attention to detail.
  • Measurement Systems experience and Gauge R & R a plus.
  • Able to perform limited Failure Analysis of non-conforming items with detailed records preferred.
  • Experience with software systems, Sage Pro or other ERP system preferred.
  • Enlists a team-oriented mindset and possess team leader skills.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • IPC Certified 610 and / or IPC 620 CIT or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience in past work history, at a cable and harness manufacturer or Medical device manufacturer and / or inspection department.
  • 3-5 years of QA / QC experience at a contract manufacturer, either Custom Cables and Harness or Medical Devices.
  • 3-5 years' experience with Clean Rooms or CER.
  • Demonstrated intermediate skills for Microsoft office suite.
  • Experience of scheduling product or material.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 processes.
  • Working knowledge of Microscopes, calipers and other inspection testing equipment.
  • National recognition of inspection & technical body of knowledge preferred (ASQ CQI, ASQ CQT as examples)
  • Must be able to see details at 18 inches.
  • Possess the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
  • Possess the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus with 20/20 vision or better in at least one eye with or without correction.
  • Must be able to identify and distinguish color.
