Job Responsibilities

As an industry leader in the Medical Device market, ATL is expanding and looking to grow our North American Sales team. ATL features vertical integration of medical devices servicing Diagnostic, Imaging & Delivery Systems, Patient Care & Monitoring, and Surgical business units.

Our ideal Regional Sales Manager candidate is experienced selling to technical and executive level stakeholders within high tech industries with average deal sizes above $1M. They have a track record of successfully attracting new accounts and strengthening long-term customer relationships. This position will be based remotely from a Western US state, within proximity to a major airport.

  • Manages the sales process from sourcing leads and new market opportunities, through to closing deals.
  • Defines short and long-term sales strategies for region; including strategic plans for key accounts in coordination with Sales & Executive leadership.
  • Develops customer product positioning and pricing strategies to produce desirable long-term market share.
  • Demonstrates technical competence while developing relationships and facilitating engineer-to-engineer dialogue during pre-sales, integration, and post-sales stages.
  • Provides guidance and collaborates with CSR teams to ensure best in class customer service.
  • Collaborates with internal Engineering, Marketing and PMO teams to execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Partners with internal Operations & Supply Chain teams to forecast business needs and guide new product setups.
  • Represents ATL at trade shows and other industry events; building relationships with industry influencers and key customers.
  • Travel up to 50% including occasional international travel (~25% currently due to COVID protocols).

Job Education & Experience

  • 3+ years of OEM sales and account management experience in high tech industries; preferably medical device.
  • Skilled in advanced relationship selling techniques (e.g., Miller Heiman, TAS, Spin Selling, etc).
  • Proven success closing B2B complex sales accounts and experience growing key customer business year over year.
  • Prior experience budgeting, cost scheduling, and managing pricing decisions a plus.
  • General technical aptitude; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to problem solve decisively and independently while demonstrating appropriate judgement on escalations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, including experience presenting in group settings with various employee levels and/or external audiences.
  • Professional maturity and judgement regarding confidential and sensitive information.
  • Customer service and solutions driven mindset.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel Internationally.
