Job Responsibilities

Our Senior Accountant will act as an essential business partner to each USA site and department as we strategize, execute, and analyze financial results to support our KPIs and company growth goals.   • Responsible for GL, Cost Accounting, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Financial Analysis, Forecasting & Budget.
  • Performs monthly/quarterly/yearly close processes and account reconciliations.
  • Acts as team lead, providing support for escalations within Finance team.
  • Partners with business leaders to regularly analyze financial metrics and provide guidance that supports profitability and growth targets.
  • Assists with preparing, distributing, and presenting timely financial reports and analysis to support decision making.
  • Contributes to consolidation of global, multi-location financial reporting.
  • Acts as liaison between other departments and locations in reconciling intercompany accounts.
  • Assists with configuration and accuracy of ERP; coordinating with Corporate Finance and IT to ensure proper integrations and general functionality.
  • Provides leadership during internal & external financial audits and supports other department audits as necessary.
  • Prepares and submits necessary regulatory and tax filings.
  • Contributes to creation of financial internal control processes; developing and implementing processes and ensuring adherence to all corporate policies and legal regulations.
  • Contributes to development of standard cost system and produces cost analysis as requested.
  • Actively participates in global finance projects.

Job Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 3+years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Manufacturing industry experience; preferably in medical or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant standards and regulations.
  • Experience with financial modeling and ad-hoc analysis, including creating complex queries and refining large data sets.
  • Technical aptitude; experience utilizing and supporting configurations of ERPs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, self-starter with ability to manage multiple deadlines within team environments.
  • Ability to problem solve decisively and independently while demonstrating appropriate judgement on escalations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, including experience presenting in group settings with various employee levels.
  • Professional maturity and judgement regarding confidential and sensitive information.
  • Customer service and solutions driven mindset.
  • Desire to support and collaborate with global teams.
